BITC’s Annual Planting Party

It was a perfect day for the Brier Island Trail Committee’s Annual Planting Party, which was a great success this year. We had a variety of perennials that BITC bought, along with a mixture of donated perennials and annuals bought with cash contributions. Special thanks to Barb at St Mary’s Bay Garden who, once again, was generous in her donations and thanks to Marie-Laure who picked up the plants.. These flower boxes are looking better every year; within a few years, we will only need to add annuals. Volunteers water and weed these flowers throughout the spring, summer and fall, on a rotating weekly schedule. And yes, we adhered to social distancing. Well done and thank you, everyone!
